Classified Ads
Warning !
A number of BPA Members who have used the classified advertisements web page have reported that they have become the potential target of various attempted scams involving dubious financial transactions. Do not be taken in by these scams! Sell or buy your kit only from another BPA Member who is a bona fide parachutist with a genuine interest in the kit. To reduce the risk of attracting automatically-generated spam e-mails, we are no longer publishing the e-mail addresses of new advertisers but are instead providing a mail form. In the light of continuing reports of scam e-mails, as an additional security measure, from November 2006, replies to advertisements are being filtered through a Member identification page that aims to allow only BPA Members reply to advertisers. Advertisers should, however, still check the identity of all respondents to ensure they are genuine

Purchasers should take care before making payments and vendors should take care before parting with goods as no liability can be accepted by the BPA. If you are in any doubt about the identity of a prospective vendor or purchaser, we would advise you to ask them for the relevant information to enable you to verify their identity. The BPA Member Check facility could be useful for this purpose.
