Microsoft Access can be extremely suitable for meeting the requirements of many projects. We have designed a number of applications which use Access as the core database.
Access can be a very useful and relevant tool to implement with projects of a certain size.
It is understanding the limitation of Access that we at HCOMS fully appreciated. For the majority of SME's, Access can easily handle the requirements. For example the invoicing, purchase orders and customer information for an SME can be fully handled within Access.
It is important to remember however, that it may not be necessary to develop a bespoke application. In some scenarios your existing software, such as Microsoft Outlook, will not be being used to its full potential.
