Visual Basic

Visual Basic is one of the programming languages with which HCOMS are experts . Visual Basic or Visual Basic for Application (VBA) are Microsoft programming languages. VBA is used behind the Microsoft Office suite of applications, such as Word,Access and Excel. VBA is often used to extend the capabilities of these applications. For example if you wanted to move a row within Excel from one sheet to another, VBA would be required.

Visual Basic, or VB.NET, is generally used to create stand-alone products or to program ASP.NET pages.

Macros

When a Macro is recorded within a Microsoft Application what is happening is that your actions are being recorded as VBA code. Recording a Macro is usefully for automating actions which are repetitive and who's actions never change.
