How we work

Three weeks of listening.
Six of building. Years of running.

No six-month discovery, no rip-and-replace. We spend a couple of weeks with the team that will actually use the system, build the narrowest version that does real work, and put it in front of them.

Discover.

Two or three weeks alongside the team. We watch the work, read the spreadsheets, and write the brief with you. The output is a scope, a price and a delivery plan you can sign off with confidence.

Build.

Six to eight weeks to a production v1, with real users on real data. Weekly demos are working software rather than slides. We deploy continuously and you steer continuously.

Run.

We host the system, monitor it, patch it and evolve it. Most clients stay five years or more. The team that built it is the team that runs it.

The stack

Boring, mature, replaceable.

We don’t chase frameworks. The technology we pick is the kind you’ll still be able to hire for in ten years, and that another agency could pick up cleanly if you ever needed to leave us.

From a director of operations
"Three quotes for the same brief: £180k from one, £240k from another, then HCOMS. They came in at half the price, shipped in twelve weeks, and they still answer the phone. I don't know how they do it."
