Why DMS

The problem we keep finding.

Five officers and five disconnected systems. Safeguarding, DAC, finance, comms and parish admin all sat in their own silo. The diocesan secretary stitched it together by hand. DBS renewals fell through the cracks the day Karen retired and her spreadsheet retired with her.

One Person 360.

Every clergy person, layperson, churchwarden and role-holder, with their roles, DBS status, MDR cycle, training and history all visible in one place to the people who need it and hidden from those who don’t.

Pre-built pipelines.

Vacancy, faculty, DBS renewal, ordination, Section 11 schemes. The work is to adopt the workflows the Church of England already runs on, not to invent new ones.

Sits on the National CMS.

The National CMS stays the data of record; we make it usable. Two-way sync, role-aware permissions, audit trails throughout.

From a diocesan secretary
"Before DMS we had five different systems and a person whose job was effectively to copy data between them. That role doesn't exist anymore. She's doing actual work now."
